A Note About Worship...
The Episcopal Church is part of the Anglican Communion, composed of 110 dioceses in 16 nations. Our Presiding Bishop is Katherine Jefferts Schori, the first female primate in the Anglican Communion. Each diocese within the Episcopal Church elects its own bishop.
Our worship centers around weekly Eucharist. All baptized Christians are welcome at our table. We are a liturgical church, and our liturgy expresses what we believe. Most of our liturgy is found in The Book of Common Prayer or newer supplemental texts.
